Dear Mr. DiNovo,

On August 26, 2007, with mixed emotions of sadness and pride, the Manchester Police Department unve

iled a granite monument in memorial to four fallen officers who made the ultimate sacrifice to the City by giving their lives in the line of duty.  A monument in their honor had been long overdue.

The monument, showcased in a setting of beautiful flowers and foliage of your design, is a fitting tribute that provides a visual reminder to members of the Department and the citizens of Manchester to never forget the sacrifices of Michael Briggs, Ralph Miller, William Moher and Henry McAllister.  We will continually hope that no other names will ever need to be added.

On behalf of the men and women of the Manchester Police Department, I offer sincere thanks for your contribution in turning an idea of a memorial to our fallen officers into reality.

-Design Works, donating plans to the community of Nashua for the reconstruction of two large courtyards at Elm Street Middle School.

Dear Jennifer and Jim,

Thank you both so very much for all your hard work, time, extra efforts and beautiful plans for both Elm Street Middle Courtyards! On the day of the events I overheard many wonderful comments about the boards and plans! And as you can see on the enclosed programs we used your plans on the program as well.

We have a lot more to complete before the courtyards are meeting our goals but there first steps are so very important. I’m very appreciative you were a part of it.  I’ll keep you both up to date on our progress.

Hello Mr. and Mrs. Jordan

My name is Roxanne Monk and I am considering using Jim DiNovo to do a landscaping project. Specifically extend our driveway (with gravel) leveling some slope, installing a patio and some plantings.

Jim provided you as a reference and I hope I can make some inquiries on your experience with Jim and his team.

What was your landscaping project?

Our project involved redesigning the front of our home, to give it more curbside appeal. It included replacing the original pathway with a stone path and landscaping either side of the pathway.

When was your project completed landscaping design and construction?

In April 2009

Was it completed on time and within budget?

Absolutely. No issues.

Where you happy with the quality of the materials and workmanship in the garden?

Extremely happy with both. The pathway turned out better than I imagined, and the plantings look so good. The workmanship was nothing other than professional. I watched the work on the construction of the pathway and saw for myself how much thought went into the construction with great attention to detail. The workers all worked very hard together, they made a great team. I couldn’t have expected more. At the end, Jim did as promised and cleaned up the area, removing all debris and leaving it looking good.

Were there any surprise expenses with your landscape?

None.

Would you do anything different?

No. We are very satisfied and have had numerous admiring comments by neighbours.

How did you come to select Jim for your project?

We attended an Ideal home exhibition in Bedford and canvassed a number of landscape designers. We took a number of business cards and called three. Jim was one of three. We were so impressed with his professionalism.

Were there any negatives about the project/work?

None.

What were the positive aspects of the job?

We now have a wonderfully designed and executed frontage which looks fantastic.  Not only did they work hard but they were always courteous.

Did you have any concerns that Design Works was not registered with New Hampshire Better Business Bureau?

None.

Would you recommend Jim for other jobs?

Absolutely. I would definitely have him again.
