Design Works is seeking an energetic Territory Manager to work collaboratively with our Snow and Ice Removal Team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed at snow and ice removal and have experience in managing snow operations at commercial properties. In this management role, you will work with our team to provide support and oversee the operation of sites, managing employees and customers, and ensure that snow/ice removal is completed in a safe, positive, and efficient manner for our customers in Southern, NH.

ABOUT THIS POSITION

The successful candidate will be relied on to provide reliable and consistent site support to our snow removal team and our customers. Assignments may include but are not limited to:

• Participate in snow removal and operate equipment during snow/ice events. This position requires the manager to have a seat in a piece of equipment during the storm as well as management responsibilities.
• Thoroughly understand the client’s site, scope of work, hours of operation, and expectations.
• Monitor weather and weather events. Communicate start time.
• Proactive preparation resources and communicating a plan of action with your team
• Communicate with co-workers during weather events. Being available at all times.
• Address client issues and questions as required.
• Ensure that all areas under our responsibility are adequately, safely, and efficiently cleared of snow/ice.
• Coordinate completion of duties, final cleanup, salting/brining
• Documentation of employee time sheets and site reports
• Perform site audits after storm
• Champion a safety first and teamwork culture at all times
• Facilitate post-storm inspections of vehicles and equipment and performing routine maintenance. Ensure company resources are being taken care of.
• Follow and promote company policies, procedures, and safety.

• Available to be on-call 24/7 and has ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and long hours
• Minimum 2-5 years of proven experience in snow/ice removal
• Possess strong experience in operating snow removal vehicles/equipment

• Ability to multi task and can work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and creates natural interpersonal relationships

The successful candidate will be relied on to build patios, walkways, and walls, outdoor kitchens, steps, etc. You will be collaborating with our Project Manager, Site Preparation/Grading Crew and our Planting Crew to work together to complete full projects.

The successful candidate will be relied on to install professionally designed planting plans, including trees, shrubs, flowers, mulch, sod, loam, lawns and lighting around residential patios, pools, and home elevations.  You will be collaborating with our Landscape Architects, Project Manager, site and hardscape crews to work together to complete full projects.

Design Works is seeking an experienced and licensed fertilizer/pesticide professional to work collaboratively with our Landscape Grounds Maintenance Team.  The Lawn Care Manager will be responsible for managing lawn care applications, applying controlled materials, diagnostics, and customer service.  The manager will provide hands-on-work, teaching support, and will manage field-team members to maintain our residential clients’ properties.   This position requires a NH State Pesticide Applicator’s License.

OVERALL SUMMARY

Design Works is seeking an experienced Crew Leader to work collaboratively with our Landscape Grounds Maintenance Team.  The successful mowing crew leader will be relied upon to perform a variety of landscaping activities, including, but not limited to general lawn mowing and maintenance, spring and fall cleanups, weeding, and planting for our residential outdoor living clients and commercial client base.   You will provide hands-on-work, teaching support, and will supervise field-team members to assure high quality work, performed in a timely manner.

ABOUT THIS POSITION

Assignments may include but are not limited to:
• Spring and fall cleanups, lawn mowing and trimming, planting, weeding, mulching, etc.
• Work with account manager to understand daily labor assignments and goals and to make sure customer expectations and scope are being met.
• Weekly maintenance of properties to upkeep beautiful and maintained lawns with clean edges and crisp lines.
• Be responsible for safely driving a truck and trailer from jobsite to jobsite, 5-6 days a week.
• Proactive preparation of resources and time
