We know that sinking your hard-earned money into a hardscape, landscape planting, and other projects at your home is a significant investment. It is a privilege for us to work with customers to complete awesome projects, and in the end, we’re just as proud as you are of the results. This is why it is so important for us to provide the option of continued guidance via our proactive maintenance programs.

If we’ve completed a landscape planting project together, your landscape has a variety of ornamental trees, shrubs, and interesting perennials. When we design landscapes, we’re looking to use plant material that evolves over the season with a variety of different heights, forms, textures, colors, flowers, and bloom times. The variety of plant materials will make your garden interesting and fun to watch grow.

While some plants require less attention, it’s important to remember that ALL plants are living things and each one of them has unique needs throughout the season. Monitoring water, nutrition, and disease prevention are basic care requirements. Caring for plants more consistently, year after year, with timely pruning and deadheading, fertilizer, etc. increase each plant’s beauty and possibility. A well-cared-for garden of plants will definitely beautify your property and protect your investment. It’s likely we took a “low maintenance” approach to your planting design, however, “low maintenance” does not mean “no maintenance.” Regardless of the plant choices, property care takes time and effort. Mowing, cleanups, lawn care, and gardening all take time! Save your evenings, weekends, and free time for your family and friends, sports, the gym, trips, and relaxation! Design Works’ will perform the work so you don’t have to.

Here’s how it works:

Property Maintenance using just ONE ProfessionalYou will be assigned an Account Manager. Your Account Manager creates a schedule of visits for various services (spring and fall cleanups, lawn mowing, lawn care, irrigation garden and plant care, seasonal flowers, etc.). The Account Manager will get to know your site, your plant material, watering needs, etc., and will perform audits to ensure your maintenance plan is being followed. Your dedicated Account Manager will be in constant contact with you to let you know what has been completed and communicate site needs, plant needs, etc. We will stay ahead of things with a proactive approach and will address needs as they come up, allowing the gardens, plant health, and site to be consistently up-kept. We love this because a regular review of the site keeps unwanted issues from happening, reduces the potential for plant replacement, etc.

We know that in the area you will find many landscaping companies that offer different scopes, abilities, and pricing. In fact, many of our customers have gone through hiring 3-4 different companies at once to take care of their mowing, irrigation openings and closing, lawn care, and cleanups. Design Works offers everything you need, all in-house! We offer a yearly subscription, with 12 monthly payments, to cover the entire season’s scope. We are confident that our subscription will save you time and money. We have the resources to keep things efficient. For example, we’ll tackle de-thatching and an irrigation opening during your spring cleanup. Your property will be opened up for the season by one team of professionals instead of 2-3 companies. When we provide you with comprehensive services, we will hold ourselves accountable for the whole kit and caboodle.

Schedule a time to meet with one of our trained representatives. We will meet with you to review your site, discuss your needs, and make suggestions for a comprehensive plan to keep your property and plant material looking beautiful, reaching its designed potential, and appropriately maintained. When we work together, you can count on us to receive quality care from trained, tenured, and licensed professionals who have the natural aesthetic eye, passion, and understanding of what they do.

To schedule a site visit or to inquire about our property maintenance subscription, please call our office at 603-864-8646 or email us at info@4designworks.com
