The cost of a landscape design depends on the size of your property, the complexity of the project, and the elements being incorporated into the plan. For smaller projects focused on a single area of the property, such as a front entrance renovation, patio, fire pit, or planting design, landscape designs typically start around $800. For larger, more complex projects that may include multiple outdoor living spaces, pools, grade changes, retaining walls, waterfront permitting requirements, or other technical considerations, design fees can range up to $2,000 or more. Every design includes a PDF copy of the completed plan, which becomes yours upon completion. If you choose Design Works to complete the construction, your design fee is applied toward the cost of your project.
